Too bad the ACC didn't have the vision 50 years ago...


to expand.
This would be a true Atlantic Coast Conference:
NORTH: BC, UConn, Rutgers, Syracuse and Penn State
MID-ATLANTIC: VA Tech, UVA, WVU, Maryland and Pitt
CAROLINAS: UNC, NC State, Duke, Clemson and South Carolina
SOUTH: Georgia, GA Tech, Florida, FSU and Miami
16 members would represent large state universities. They could have cross over rivals (UVA-UNC, Pitt-PSU, ...) and this time Tech wouldn't get stuck with BC. ;)
